Payment Methods
We accept payment by check, money orders, credit and debit cards
from Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Please note
than when paying by check your order might be held for as much as
20 days to allow the check to be cleared by your bank. If you wish
to pay by check please consider using a money order or bank cashiers
check.
Retail Store
We encourage you to visit us at our retail store, click
for directions. Please note that the pricing is not necessarily the same
in our retail outlets. The Internet allows us to offer discounted pricing
due to the reduced overhead in processing of these orders.
Shipping
Whenever possible your order will be shipped via UPS. All shipping charges
are based on the total weight of the products and packaging material of your
shipment. At checkout you will be given the shipping cost for various options
including ground (usually the cheapest) to next day air. If at checkout you
provide a valid e-mail address the tracking number will be automatically sent
to you. Please make sure your spam blocker allows email from soapmaking.com
as well as ups.com. Please e-mail or call for shipping quotes outside the US.
Damaged in Shipment
We must know immediately if you receive your order and it has been damaged.
Call us at 800 390-9969 to report a damaged shipment. Please let the delivery
agent know and if possible make a note of it when you sign for the package.
Returns
Returns in as new and sellable condition will be accepted under the following
conditions. All returns will require an RMA, please call us at 800 390-9969
to arrange a return. A 20% restocking fee will apply and the customer will
be responsible for both the
outbound and
return
shipping
charges.
Certain
items
such as opened oils cannot be returned.
Tax
Sales tax at 8.25% is charged for all orders delivered in California. All
other delivery destinations are tax free. If you want it kept that way let
tell your
congressman and senators how you feel.
